COVID-Related Stress and the Connection to Substance Use and Mental Health Issues

A FREE Virtual CEU Event hosted by Lincoln Prairie Behavioral Health Center

COVID has presented a number of challenges to the behavioral health community. The U.S. population in general is experiencing greater stress, anxiety and depression that can lead to feeling overwhelmed and hopeless. Behavioral health providers are on the front lines of dealing with the crisis and its impact on individuals on a daily basis. This session will discuss COVID’s impact on mental health and substance use issues. Data from treatment centers will be reviewed and strategies to address underlying symptoms will be presented.
